The Government of Estonia has given 10 mln EEK's (� 640K) for the ESC 2002.

The Ministry of Culture wanted 35 mln kroons (� 2,2 mln) for ETV, but the Government told ETV to look for more sponsors. If they don't find any then the Government will give more money.

The budget of this years ESC is about � 7,9 mln.EBU's share is � 3,2 mln.
