He went gold very quickly, as quickly as he now went platinum! To his great pleasure, the Swedish representative Benjamin Ingrosso confirmed the news through an Instagram post a few hours ago!

With achieving platinum status, his Melodifestivalen 2018 winning entry and Eurovision song Dance you off seems to have absolutely mesmerised the country.

Right after his Melodifestivalen 2018 victory, Benjamin Ingrosso and Dance you off was being found in increasingly high positions of the Swedish charts, even reaching the 2nd position. His gold certification became a reality just 10 days after the final of the country’s annual national selection event on 10 March.

From Covilhã where he is at the moment in order to film his Eurovision postcard, Benjamin posted a picture with him looking the Portuguese city from the top, where the Swedes’ love and support he feels to have sent him.

For yet another year, the Swedish Eurovision entry ranks relatively high in polls and odds, being among the 10 bookers’ favourites. Sweden is going to perform 15th at the second semi-final on 10 May.
