This year’s Eurovision Song Contest is full of ballads, and that is not going to change but it’s not uncommon that the artists record at least one alternative to what we will hear on the big nights in May.

On the Cypriot singer John Karayiannis’s official Facebook page his song has a remixed version!

If you are in Vienna and in the Euroclub or the Euro Fan Café you may well be moving and grooving to this new version of One thing I should have done, called the OtisHD Euroclub mix. The beats gave gone up from approximately 92 beats per minute to 128, and that makes it much more danceable! This mix, which was created by Pepperoni Mohawx, is now commercially available on download platforms like iTunes.

I attended my first Eurovision Song Contest in 1995, and from 1996 presented daily live reports for radio stations from the event. Since then I have been providing material from everywhere the contest has been held. I also enjoy compiling most of the video materials for three UK ESC events each year. In 2010 I first provided material for esctoday.com.
