Two-time Italian Eurovision representative Marco Mengoni is back with brand new music! The acclaimed singer, who last graced the Eurovision stage in 2023, has officially released his latest single, ‘Giornate Perse’.

Italian music icon and Eurovision star, Marco Mengoni, has delighted fans with the release of his new single, ‘Giornate Perse‘. The track became available today, 9 October 2026, across all digital platforms and for radio rotation.

‘Giornate Perse‘, which translates to ‘Lost Days’, offers a profound and intimate reflection, exploring themes of feeling ignored, the monotony of daily life, and the solitude that can follow a breakup. The song is characterized by Marco’s signature powerful vocals, set against an indie-synth ballad instrumental that blends acoustic elements with contemporary production.

The track was penned by Marco Mengoni himself alongside Jacopo Ettorre, with composition credits also going to Giovanni Pallotti, Vanegas, and Edwyn Roberts. The production features a talented team including Marco Mengoni, Giovanni Pallotti, Vanegas, Edwyn Roberts, Fabio Rondanini, and Claudio Guarcello.

This new release also serves as a precursor to Mengoni’s upcoming residency, ‘Allo Sbagliato‘, in Milan, scheduled from 5 November to 19 December. The residency promises a unique live experience, further showcasing the sophisticated pop sound hinted at in ‘Giornate Perse‘.

Marco Mengoni previously represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013 with ‘L’essenziale’, achieving a respectable seventh place. He made a triumphant return in 2023 with ‘Due Vite’, securing a fourth-place finish. His new single is released under Epic Records Italy / Sony Music Italy.
