Transavia France is set to launch direct flights from Paris (Orly) to Burgas, Bulgaria, starting May 10, 2027. This new route is perfectly timed to coincide with the period of the Eurovision Song Contest 2027, which will be held in Burgas.

Exciting news for Eurovision fans and travellers alike! Transavia France, the low-cost airline of the Air France-KLM group, will commence direct services from Paris Orly Airport to Burgas, Bulgaria, beginning May 10, 2027.

This strategic new route extends Transavia France’s flight programme and is perfectly timed to enhance travel options for the Eurovision Song Contest 2027. Burgas has been officially confirmed as the host city for the 71st edition of the contest, with the Semi-Finals on May 11 and 13, and the Grand Final on May 15, 2027, at Arena Burgas. This direct link from Paris offers a convenient travel opportunity for French fans and international visitors connecting via the French capital.

While this marks the second season for Transavia France operating flights to Burgas, having launched the route in 2026, the 2027 schedule is tailored to enhance accessibility during the Eurovision period. For French tourists, it presents an ideal opportunity for an early summer holiday on Bulgaria’s southern Black Sea coast, famed for its beautiful beaches, charming coastal walks, and delicious seafood.

Conversely, for those planning a trip from Burgas to the French capital, Paris offers an abundance of attractions, from iconic monuments and world-class museums to quaint cafés and picturesque strolls along the Seine. Tickets for these flights are already available for purchase on the Transavia France website.
