Albanian national broadcaster RTSH has officially announced the 28 artists who will compete in Festivali i Këngës 65 (FiK 65). This highly anticipated festival has served as the national selection for Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest. Fans are now eagerly awaiting further details regarding the competing songs and the festival dates.

Exciting news emerges from Albania as RTSH, the national broadcaster, has today, October 9th, officially unveiled the list of 28 artists set to participate in the 65th edition of Festivali i Këngës.

Festivali i Këngës, or FiK as it is affectionately known, is one of Europe’s longest-running music festivals and holds a special place in Albanian culture. Since their debut in 2004, Albania has consistently used FiK to determine the country’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest, making this announcement particularly crucial for Eurovision fans.

The selection process for FiK 65 is now officially underway with the announcement of these talented individuals. The festival is expected to take place in December 2026 with the exact format yet to be confirmed. Among the 28 participants, familiar names such as Kejsi Tola, who represented Albania at Eurovision 2009, are included. While the names of the competing artists have been revealed, specific details regarding their songs and the exact dates for the semi-finals and grand final are yet to be fully disclosed.
