Aurelian Temişan’s career could be described as multifaceted. Born in 1972, his musical debut took place in 1989 at the Mamaia Festival in Romania. As a child he played handball and practiced boxing. He was indeed aimed at a sports career that he gave up for music, which has been his major occupation, releasing a series of albums. But singing is not the only thing he has done…
Aurelian approached politics, too. In 2008 he declared that he was set on running for the Romanian Chamber of Deputies, but he drew back for a contract with a television station.
He has also given voice to characters in the Romanian-dubbed version of Disney movies. Besides, Aurelian also counts one acting feature in the Romanian film A doua cădere a Constantinopolului.
After a 12-year break not participating in the Romanian national final, Aurelian will try to represent his country in the Eurovision Song Contest together with the singer Alexa Niculae, who will feature as Alexa.
Born in Bucharest in 1985, Alexa is a singer, songwriter and also a TV-presenter. She started her studies of Journalism at the Hyperion University in Bucharest in 2004, and she graduated in 2008. She has participated in different television music competitions and in 2009 she attempted a Eurovision entry for Romania, too. Since 2008 she works as a VJ for the channel KISS TV.
Since 2012 Alexa takes part in the Romanian satiric show Cronica Carcotasilor, presenting the section Vocea poporului.
Aurelian and Alexa will try this year to sing for Romania in Vienna with the song Chica latina.
