Born in Florence in 1964, Marco Masini will be making his seventh participation at the Sanremo Festival with Che giorno è (What Day Is It).
An iconic and award-winning artist, who is not afraid to challenge conventions, Marco Masini has been in the music industry since 1986, following a meeting with the famous Italian music producer and composer Giancarlo Bigazzi. His self-titled debut album was released in 1990, the year he made his first Sanremo appearance with Disperato, which triumphed in the Sezione Novità category.
Marco has also participated at the Sanremo Festivals of 1991, 2000, 2004, 2005 and 2009, winning the 2004 competition with his entry L’uomo volante.
Marco Masini will contest the Campioni Category at Sanremo 2015 with Che giorno è.
