The Hungarian national selection for the country’s entry in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest kicks off this evening with the first heat. 10 candidates will have the chance to impress the jury and the audience in order to keep proceed to the A Dal semi-final.
About the show
The Hungarian broadcaster MTVA has laid down the path to Vienna for its 30 candidates competing for the golden ticket, but only one entry will do the whole way down to Austria. A Dal 2015 sets its engine in motion tonight with the ten first artists that wish to be in the Austrian capital defending the colors of Hungary at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.
These ten artists will present their proposals before the four-member jury that, together with the vote of the audience, will determine which are the five entries of the night that they like the most. A sixth entry will be chosen only by the audience via televoting. The six selected entries will continue the fight in A Dal’s semi-finals.
18 acts will be in the semi-finals, 9 in each of the two that are scheduled.
The members of the jury will be Pierrot, Jenő Csiszár, Philip Rákay and the Hungarian representative in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest Magdi Rúzsa.
Csilla Tatár will be the host of A Dal 2015.
