Trijntje Oosterhuis, the Dutch Eurovision 2015 participant, will perform her Eurovision-song for the first time live in the popular Dutch TV-show The Voice Of Holland, on Friday 12 December. Trijntje announced this herself yesterday evening in The Voice. She is also one of the coaches of this show.
The official presentation of the 2015 Dutch Eurovision-entry will be a day earlier, Thursday 11 December, in broadcaster AVROTROS’ radio-show De Gouden Uren on NPO Radio 2, presented by former Dutch Eurovision commentator Daniël Dekker, between 09.00 and 12.00 AM. The live debut performance of Trijntjes ESC-song will be a day later in The Voice Of Holland, aired on RTL 4.
The Voice has several connections to the Eurovision Song Contest in this season: besides coaches Trijntje Oosterhuis and Ilse DeLange (Eurovision 2014, together with Waylon as part of The Common Linnets, second place in the grand final), there are semi-finalists O’G3NE, formerly known as Lisa, Amy & Shelley, the Dutch representatives at the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam.
The Voice Of Holland, semi-final, can be followed on Friday 12 December from 20.30 PM on RTL 4.
Trijntje Oosterhuis (Amsterdam, 1973), was chosen by a special Eurovision-commission of Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS to represent The Netherlands at the Eurovison Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, Austria. Her ESC-song is written by Anouk (Dutch representative at Eurovision 2013, ninth place in the grand final). Trijntje is the sister of music producer Tjeerd Oosterhuis, married to artist Edsilia Rombley (Dutch representative at Eurovision 1998, fourth place; and at Eurovision 2007, 21st place in the semi-final).
