Emmelie de Forest’s single Rainmaker has been nominated for a top award in Denmark.

The song, which was released in February, peaked at number 1 in the Danish Singles Chart and featured as this year’s official Eurovision anthem. It has been nominated in the category of Danish Hit of the Year at the Gaffa Awards.

As the awards are voted for by the public, Emmelie posted a link to the voting page on her Facebook and encouraged her fans to support her. You can vote here.

The awards are now in their 24th year and run by Danish music magazine, Gaffa. They will take place this coming 4 December at the Bremen Theatre in Copenhagen with viewers able to watch a live broadcast on Danish TV channel, DK3. Acts so far confirmed to perform during the awards include the Asteroids Galaxy Tour and Blaue Blume.
