Norway: Golden tickets for MGP 2015 go on sale

With the final date and details of the 2015 Norwegian national final Melodi Grand Prix (MGP) being confirmed yesterday, the first set of tickets for the event have been released.

Shortly after yesterday’s announcement by the Norwegian national broadcaster NRK, a small number of tickets listed as Golden Tickets have since been released. A total of 100 Golden Tickets are currently on sale and are available via the billettservice.no website.

The Golden Tickets for the national final, which is set to take place on the 14 March 2015 at the Oslo Spektrum, cost a total of 330 NOK and can be purchased here. Audience members who purchase the Golden Tickets will receive the best seats in the arena before the regular tickets go on sale.

NRK is expected to reveal more details about the national final in the due course including details regarding the MGP hosts and the production team. Yesterday it was revealed that NRK has decided to reintroduce the live orchestra to the national final which will consist of a total of 54 musicians. Read more about the national final changes here.

Last year, Carl Espen was selected to represent Norway via the national selection MGP. With his song Silent storm, Carl qualified to the grand final where he ended in 8th place.
