Sweden: Sanna Nielsen to embark on a Christmas tour

Sanna Nielsen has announced the details of her yearly Christmas tour, set to begin on 18 November in Stockholm.

The Melodifestivalen veteran will embark on a 17-day tour starting on 18 November in the Swedish capital and will end on the winter solstice in the northern city of Umeå.

Sanna will rejoice attendants singing carols, in Swedish and English, from her three Christmas albums: Min önskejul, Vinternatten and Min Jul and will and probably perform special acoustic version of her Melodifestivalen bids and her most recent Eurovision entry, Undo.

As expressed on her blog, she is working on some ideas for the tour, but she also wanted to know what the fans expect from her. I have loads of ideas, but obviously want to check with you what you have suggested carols you want to hear? She said. Fans can leave their suggestions on the comments section of her post here.

2014 has been a very successful year for Sanna. She went to win the Melodifestivalen on her 7th attempt, finished 3rd in Copenhagen, her latest studio album topped the Swedish charts and landed on the female lead role of Lara in Dr Zhivago the musical in Malmö Opera House since August.
