French and Belgian former participants in the Eurovision Song Contest have given a hand to Sidaction, an organization in France committed to raising awareness and collecting funds for AIDS.

In this past days plenty of videos have been circulating in the net portraying actors, singers and other public figures taking the ice bucket challenge for ALS. Plenty of Eurovision names got involved with this initiative.

Now the French association Sidaction has brought together no less than 120 celebrities in one single video. Singers, actors and comedians play a part singing and kissing in the music clip for the single Kiss & Love, developed by the French performed and composer Pascal Obispo, who is the one responsible for this ensemble of 120 popular names and voices.

Kiss & Love is a project that has been developed as part of the events to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Sidaction, its fight against AIDS and for the support of those touched by HIV.

Such a commendable action has counted with the participation of four Eurovision past participants. The French entrants Amaury Vassili, Amandine Bourgeois and Anggun together with the Belgian Roberto Bellarosa have taken part in the making of the music video that will help to continue the struggle of Sidaction: the profits of the sales of the single Kiss & Love and the artists’ rights will be turned in full to the association. They will serve to finance AIDS research and prevention projects as well as initiatives for the care and assistance to HIV-infected patients in France and 26 developing countries.

Even though they might be busy with their own careers, all the 120 artists have found a moment to put their part in this altruistic campaign. Let’s not forget that Roberto Bellarosa recently released and is currently promoting his single Agathe.

Kiss & Love is available for purchase from different on-line stores. More information can be found in Sidaction’s website (in French).
