Estonia debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 with Silvi Vrait and won the event in 2001 in Copenhagen with Tanel Padar‘s and Dave Benton’s Eveybody. The country successfully hosted the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest in Tallinn, the very first time the contest travelled to an Eastern European country.
