The twenty acts that will compete in Estonia’s national selection for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest were revealed today by ERR. A special jury listened to the 157 songs that were submitted to the national broadcaster and they agreed on the top 20.
The twenty acts that will compete in Esti Laul 2013 are :

- Facelift Deer – Dance (Rasmus Rändvee, Paal Piller, Karl Kallas)
- Elina Born – Enough (Stig Rästa, Fred Krieger)
- Birgit Õigemeel – Et uus saaks alguse (Mihkel Mattisen, Silvia Soro)
- Rosanna Lints – Follow me (Rolf Roosalu, Kristel Aaslaid, Mattias Hapsal)
- Neogeen – Lune surnoise (Raido Lilleberg, Kalle Raudmets, Mare Sabolotny)
- Marie Vaigla – Maybe (Raul Vaigla, Marie Vaigla)
- Winny Puhh – Meiecundimees uks korsakov läks eile lätti (Silver Lepaste, Indrek Vaheoja)
- Põhja-Tallinn – Meil on aega veel (Jaanus Saks, Mark Eric Kammiste, Alvar-Risto Vürst)

Many artists and songwriters decided to return to the Eesti Laul competition. The Estonian Eurovision veteran Rolf Roosalu will try to win the lucky ticket to Malmo. Other familiar names are : Birgit Õigemeel, Fred Krieger, Jaan Pehk, Liis Lemsalu, Stig Rästa and Tenfold Rabbit.
Sven Lõhmus, the author of the Estonian entries in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, 2009 and 2011 is also competing in the 2013 Estonian selection.
The twenty artists will have to compete in two semi finals to be held on 16 February and 23 February 2013. The top five from each semi final will qualify for the grand final to be held on 2 March 2013 at the Nokia Concert Hall in Tallinn.
