Malaysia’s debut at Eurovision Asia 2026

Aina Abdul is set to make history as Malaysia’s first representative at the Eurovision Asia Song Contest. Her entry, ‘Bluest Sky’, is an emotional English-language power ballad penned by Aina herself, featuring an intricate musical arrangement by Mac Chew. The song explores themes of love, heartbreak, and hope, aiming to convey a deeply personal narrative while incorporating subtle elements of Nusantara culture.

The announcement of Aina Abdul as Malaysia’s participant came in August, during the 40th Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL40) event. Since then, anticipation has been building for the official release of her song. ‘Bluest Sky’ is now available on digital platforms, allowing fans across the globe to experience Malaysia’s debut entry.
