The 2011 Azerbaijani Eurovision winner, Eldar Gasimov, has released a brand new song titled ‘Rising Up’ along with its official music video.
Eldar Gasimov one of the most popular singers in Azerbaijan, is back in the game with a new single ‘Rising Up‘.
The song has been written and produced by Swedish duo Johan Jämtberg & Mikael Gunnerås along with Eldar.
Jämtberg/Gunnerås were behind Kurt Kalleja’s 2012 Maltese Eurovision entry ‘This is the night‘
In 2013, Eldar, Jämtberg and Gunnerås wrote, produced and released the song ‘The one‘, which
became a massive hit in Azerbaijan.
Eldar’s new song Rising up is about how a person takes control of his/her life again, after being let down by a loved one.

Ell (Eldar) & Nikki represented Azerbaijan at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest with their entry ‘ Running Scared‘, giving their homeland its very first Eurovision victory. The following year Eldar co hosted the competition on home soil along with Leyla and Nargis in the majestic capital of Azerbaijan, Baku.
