She might be performing her Eurovision entry in Serbian, but this can’t prevent her from giving a more international character to her song! Several days before taking to the Eurovision stage, Nevena Božović released an English version of Kruna!

Nevena’s track acquires a new English title, The crown – Eternal light. This most recent version of the song is an orchestral one, which the Serbian hopeful recorded joined by the Symphony Orchestra of RTS (Serbia’s national broadcaster). The orchestra was conducted by Bojan Suđić.

The song Kruna, which was victorious at Serbia’s national selection event Beovizija 2019, has been penned by Nevena Božović herself, Darko Dimitrov and Snežana Vukomanović.

Nevena Božović at Eurovision

The 24-year-old Serbian artist is a familiar face to Eurovision. Many fans could still remember her very first performance as a child, as she represented Serbia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Rotterdam, where she received a respectable 3rd place.

She later tried her luck with the senior contest, as she, Mirna Radulović and Sara Jovanović, formed the girl group Moje 3 and represented their nation in 2013, with Ljubav je svuda. Then, they didn’t manage to progress to the final. Could Nevena have a better luck as a solo artist in Tel Aviv?
