Belarus in Eurovision
Belarus first entered the Eurovision house in Istanbul in 2004. The best Eurovision result for the former Soviet nation has been a 6th place, achieved in 2007 by Dmitry Koldun and Work your magic. Last year, Belarus was represented by the Ukrainian winner of their national selection show, ALEKSEEV, who delivered an extraordinary performance of his song Forever. Despite that, the country did not make it to the Grand Final, as they finished 16th in the first semi-final with 65 points.
This year, Belarus has been drawn to compete in the first half of the first semi-final evening on 14 May.
