We’re back to the sunny shores of Spain tonight for the grand finale of Operacion Triunfo 2018. Four girls and one boy are vying to win the talent show. Who will be crowned the winner of this year’s edition? The mystery will be unveiled tonight.
The fourteenth and final gala of OT 2018 will be taking place tonight with Sabela, Famous, Alba, Natalia and Julia battling for the coveted trophy.

The Show
There will be 2 rounds during tonight’s show. During the first round all five finalists will perform a cover song. Hereafter the Spanish audience will cast their votes. The top 3 acts from the first round of voting will proceed to the second round, where they will perform the song their debut songs from Gala #0. Voting will open again and the finalist with the highest amount of votes wil be crowned the winner of OT 2018.

The show will be hosted by one of Spain’s most sought after television hosts Roberto Leal.
This week Pablo Alboran, Rozelen, David Otero and Amaia (Spain 2018) will be attending tonight’s gala and mesmerising the Spanish audience with their latest music.
Amaia won OT 2017 and represented Spain at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, she released her first solo single Un nuevo lugar just a few days ago.

Operación Triunfo and Eurovision
2019 will see Spain select its Eurovision act and entry for the 5th time via Operacion Triunfo, having used this mechanism in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2018.
OT 2018 will determine the 2019 Spanish Eurovision representative, thirteen out of the sixteen OT participants will be eligible to defend the Spanish colours in Tel Aviv.
One of 16 OT 2018 will follow Alfred & Amaia‘s footsteps and fly the Spanish flag at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv.
