It’s been a great upheaval for him and the entire Czech delegation; however, news are now good for Mikolas Josef! Following an injury in his back during his first rehearsal, which could even prevent him from performing at Eurovision, he is now announcing that he’s all set to get back for his second rehearsal tomorrow!

To our great pleasure, Mikolas posted a picture of himself standing finally upright and explaining that what helped him to get through this hitch was his persistence and positive thoughts, as well as his family’s support. He also mentioned that after such a long time of hard work and devotion, it would be impossible for him to give up at the very last moment.

With minor changes in the performance, as he pointed out, Mikolas Josef is full ahead of appearing at the first semi-final next Tuesday, vying for the best possible outcome with his pop entry Lie to me!

From the very first moments after his accident, the Czech hopeful was receiving a great deal of love and support messages from people from all over the world, as well as his Eurovision co-competitors. On Sunday, the Icelandic entrant Ari Ólafsson had posted a picture with his good friend, as he says, wishing him a speedy recovery:

Mikolas Josef will be taking the stage tomorrow for his 2nd rehearsal, as he is going to perform 5th at the first semi-final on 8 May.
