Franka will have a lot of things to share regarding her participation in the next few hours; initially as guest during the news bulletin of HRT Dnevnik, as well as tomorrow on the Good morning, Croatia TV show, on the broadcaster’s official radio station HRT – HR 2 and on all local radio stations.

About Franka Batelić

Franka was crowned the winner of Showtime (Croatian version of Pop Idol) in 2007 and subsequently she released her debut single Ovaj daj.

Her second single Ruža u kamenu won for Croatia the 2008 OGAE Song Contest, organized by 42 OGAE Eurovision fan clubs. Victories didn’t stop there for her, as she has additionally been the winner of the 4th edition of the Croatian Dancing with the Stars, in 2009.

2018 doesn’t mark her first Eurovision attempt, as she had also tried to represent the former Yugoslavian nation at Eurovision 2009 in Moscow, with her track Pjesma za kraj, which finished in 7th position at Croatia’s national final Dora 2009.

This year, the successful singer was internally chosen by the Croatian national broadcaster HRT to fly the country’s flag in Lisbon, following the footsteps of Jacques Houdek, who partook last year in Kyiv and finished in 13th in the final, with 128 points.

Will she make it in the Top 10 or even achieve Croatia’s first victory in May?
