On the way to the full release of the 2018 Croatian Eurovision entry Crazy, yesterday saw the country’s entrant Franka Batelić unveil a short part of the song with which she will be flying to Lisbon in May!

It seems quite a promising entry and video from Croatia, with the internally selected Franka being decided to bring Croatia on the left side of the scoreboard once again. It sounds like a powerful song, as Franka herself had previously stated, which is all set to make sense on the Eurovision stage!

We are supposed to listen to the song’s final version in the coming weeks. Until then, you may enjoy its teaser below:

Regarding his song’s mixing and final processing, both taking place in London, the composer Branimir Mihaljević stated:

Franka has all the qualities of a true world star and we did our best to make a world song, keeping up with the current trends, but at the same time creating a completely new sound and original atmosphere. Young Denis Mevlja had a big role in the making of the song, and mixing was done in London’s Metropolis Studio by the people who had created the sound of Adele, Amy Winehouse, Lana Del Rey and many others. The final processing of the song will be done by London’s legendary Abbey Road Studio. I’m sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised when you listen to it.

According to Franka’s manager Siniša Bevanda‘s words, the Croatian delegation is in full swing, with the aim of everything to be very carefully prepared, down to the last detail. Siniša said the team has contacted several adept people with whom Franka has collaborated in the past, something quite important for them.

Franka’s thank you to the Eurofans!

Via an Instagram video from capital Zagreb, the Croatian representative wanted to say a warm thank you and send her love to all of her followers and the contest’s fans, who have been supporting her participation from the first minute.

Below her post, Franka did not skip a mention to how it feels over the last few weeks:

Words cannot express how I’ve been feeling during the past few weeks. Thank you for the support and all of your kind messages, you have no idea how much it means to me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sending you tones of love & good vibrations.❤️

Croatia and Franka Batelić have been drawn to perform in the second half of the first semi-final on 8 May in Lisbon. 2018 sees the country’s 24th Eurovision participation and the country is yet to win the event. Last year, the artist Jacques Houdek flew the former Yugoslavian nation’s flag in Kyiv and came 13th with the song My friend.

Which are your expectations from Franka and… Crazy?
Could she win it for Croatia for the first time?
