Everyone and everything is in place, as the first heat of the Hungarian national selection A Dal 2018 is about to begin tonight. The country has been gearing up for their 2018 Eurovision participation for a long time and now it’s time we witnessed the main part.

The show is going to air live at 20:30 CET on:
- Duna TV
- Live webstream will also be provided, via Mediaklikk.hu
The show’s hosts will be the 2016 A Dal winner and Eurovision entrant Freddie, accompanied by the journalist Krisztina Rátonyi.
Who will appear on the show?
Tonight sees a total of 10 acts perform at the heat, as only 6 of them will eventually get the ticket to the semi-finals. 5 will be qualified by both jury and televoting and a further 1 entirely by public vote. This is how the case is going to be at all 3 heat rounds of the competition.
A few days ago, MTVA broadcaster revealed which acts will be partaking in the upcoming first A Dal heat round. Thus, tonight we will watch the following participants with their entries:

- Fourtissimo feat. Markanera – Kisnyuszi a kalapban
- Viktor Király – Budapest girl
- Gabi Knoll – Nobody to die for
- Leander Kills – Nem szól harang
- LivingRoom – Kirakat élet
- Noémo – Levegőt!
- Patikadomb – Jó szelet!
- Zsolt Süle – Zöld a május
- Tamás Vastag – Ne hagyj reményt
