As is an annual tradition, Germany will celebrate the Grand Final of Eurovision 2017 with parties before, and after, the big event. The parties will be broadcast live on German channel Das Erste (ARD) and ARD digital channel ONE, while a livestream and discussion forum may be followed via Eurovision.de.
The shows Eurovision Song Contest 2017 – Countdown für Kiew and Eurovision Song Contest 2017 – Grand Prix Party will be held respectively before, and after, the Grand Final of the ESC 2017. Held at, and broadcast live from, the Reeperbahn in Hamburg, host Barbara Schöneberger will also have live contact with the 2017 German Eurovision representative Levina, who will talk about her impresssions in both the pre- and after show.
Musical guests for both events include: Eurovision 1982 winner and beloved German artist Nicole, the Kelly Family, British singer-songwriter Melanie C, the band Mando Diau from Sweden, and artists Joy Denalane and Wincent Weiss.
Eurovision Song Contest 2017 – Countdown für Kiew will be aired from 20.15 CET, Eurovision Song Contest 2017 – Grand Prix Party from 0.20 CET, preceding and following the Grand Final of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, Ukraine, on Saturday 13 May 2017.
