They did it last year and now they decided to do it again! The United States are going to broadcast live once again the Final of the Eurovision Song Contest!
Eurovision brings two continents closer!
The Logo TV channel, broadcasting in USA area since 2005, announced the pleasant news to the American fans a few hours ago. The commentators for the show will be -the very famous and prestigious in USA- Michelle Visage and Ross Mathews. The Logo hosts will offer background on the event and contextualize the competition to the American audience while introducing them to the contestants from each of the 42 competing countries.
In her statements about that decision, Pamela Post, SVP of Programming for Logo said:
Logo is proud to return as the exclusive U.S. broadcast home for the global phenomenon that is the Eurovision Song Contest. This cultural gem has taken worldwide audiences by storm and we’re thankful to once again partner with EBU so our viewers can watch the Grand Final live.
The Executive supervisor for the Eurovision Song Contest, Jon Ola Sand stated:

We know that the contest has a lot of dedicated fans in the United States and we’re excited that, thanks to Logo, even more viewers this year can discover the excitement of the world’s longest running annual TV music competition and “celebrate diversity” with audiences around the world.
The 62nd Eurovision Song Contest is taking place on 9, 11 and 13 May at the IEC in Kyiv, Ukraine.
