Lucie Jones, the UK representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, has been announced as the lead role in the UK and Irish tour of Legally Blonde. The musical will embark on a major tour in September

Lucie Jones will star as the main character, Elle Woods, in a new UK tour of Legally Blonde the Musical, which opens in Bromley in September 2017

Jones returns to the role after appearing in a production of the musical at Curve Leicester last year. She is currently starring in the UK tour of Rent, and her previous theatre roles include We Will Rock You, Ghost, American Psycho and Les Miserables. Lucie Jones will represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song I will never give up on you, which was written by the Danish Eurovision 2013 winner, Emmelie de Forrest.
