About Nathan Trent

Nathan Trent was born in the city of Innsbruck in 1992 and released his debut single Like it is in 2016. He was chosen by the Austrian broadcaster ORF to represent the nation by internal selection. He was also one of the 33 entrants for Unser Song 2017, the German national selection for this year’s contest. He was automatically eliminated, as the rules of EBU do not allow an artist to represent more than one country.

About the song Running on Air

The pop Austrian entry was intended to be released on 28 February 2017 by ORF, but leaked online through Spotify and YouTube on 26 February. The songwriters are Nathan Trent and Bernhard Penzias. The label is ORF-Enterprise.
