A few hours ago, the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel released the official music video of this year’s Georgian entry, Tamara Gachechiladze with the title Keep the faith.
Details about the video
The filming of the music video for Keep the faith, featuring 20 different characters was directed by Temur Kvirkvelia. The competing song sees some changes to its instrumentation, as well as the introduction of a choir into the backing track. Georgia is one of several countries which chose to revamp their song after their national final.

About Tamara “Tako” Gachechiladze
Tamara “Tako” Gachechiladze is a Georgian Pop, R&B and soul singer and was member of the former band Stephane & 3G who were going to take part in Eurovision 2009 with their entry We don’t wanna put in, before the song had been forced to withdraw due political content. In solo career, she had once more tried to represent Georgia in 2008, with the song Me and my funky.
The singer performed in Tel Aviv this week among many other participants of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. From her performance, she posted a photo highlight on her official Facebook page:

This marks the 9th participation of Georgia at Eurovision. Their best result so far has been two ninth places in 2010 and 2011. The country is going to perform 2nd in the first semi-final on 9 May. The Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will take place on 9, 11 and 13 May at the IEC in Kyiv, Ukraine.
