RTCG, the Montenegrin national broadcaster has confirmed to ESCTday that the 2017 Montenegrin entry Space will be premiered on Friday 10 March.

The 2017  Montenegrin representative Slavko Kalezić will premiere his Eurovision entry Space on RTCG on Friday 10 March.  The Montenegrin hopeful has recorded his song in Sweden.

The 2017 Montenegrin entry has been composed by Momčil Zeković.

Slavko is a well known and highly acclaimed actor in Montenegro, having great experience in the theatre world. He competed in the internationally talent show X Factor Adria. He released his debut album 2 years ago. He speaks fluent English, Spanish and French. He recently travelled to Spain and Sweden and is currently working round the clock in order to prepare for his Eurovision performance in Kyiv.

Montenegro debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 and is yet to win the competition. The country achieved its best result in the contest in 2015 with Knez, placing 13th in Grand Final in Vienna.

The 2017 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held at the IEC  in Kyiv on 9, 11 and 13 May.
