On the 16th of February it was announced that the Czech Republic‘s singer for Eurovision 2017 would be Martina Barta. More information about her song and even have a sample of her song is now available.

Martina Barta will perform for Czech Republic at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv in May. Her song is called My turn and you can listen to a sneak peak of it at the video clip shared by Czech TV.

Czech Republic in Eurovision

The Czech Republic has participated 7 times since their debute in 2007 and have managed to qualifiy to the final only once in 2016. The country had withdrawn from the 2010 contest and returned in 2015. They achieved their best score in 2016 when Gabriela Gunčíková scored 25th in the final with 41 points
