It took Hungary 3 Heats and 2 Semi-finals to narrow down the total 30 participants to 8 finalists. Two rounds of voting tonight will determine the Hungarian representative at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.

The show

The Final of A Dal 2017 taking place tonight, will see the 8 entries qualified from the two Semi-finals. The winner who will take the ticket to represent Hungary in Eurovision, this May in Kyiv, will be selected over two rounds of voting. During the first round, the jury will determing the Top 4 entries that will advance to the second round. Tonight, the voting system will be different from that used during the Heats and Semi-finals. The jurors will reveal their points after all the songs had been performed. The televoting is once again included in the voting as the 5^th jury member.

The jury of A Dal 2017 consists of: RnB singer Caramel, singer Zséda, rock singer and songwriter Károly Frenreisz and composer and musician Miklós Both.

How to watch

The show is hosted by television presenters Csilla Tatár and Levente Harsányi and will be broadcast live from Budapest at 19:30 CET and on MTVA’s channels:
