The votes are recent before the 16 Campioni finalists take to the Sanremo 2017 stage for a final time, in which a combined public (40%), expert jury (30%) and demoscopic poll (30%) vote will determine the winner of the whole event.

The first round of votes will determine which 3 acts have obtained the highest amount of votes, with the voting going on to be reset for a final time.

Voting will reopen with the same combined voting process taking place. The act which receives the most votes will be crowned the winner of the Campioni 2017 competition!

But that’s not all; the Campioni winner will also be offered by RAI the opportunity to represent Italy at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, the keyword being offered.

The Campioni winner does not have to accept the ticket to Kyiv for the European competition, in which case RAI will internally select another artist to compete at the competition instead. However, more details will be known the following days after the Sanremo final has taken place.

! Summary: Sixteen Campioni acts will compete, top 3 acts will undergo a further vote; winner is determined and offered the ticket to Kyiv for Eurovision 2017.

So who will go on to represent Italy at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest? We’re all set to find out in the coming days. But until then, enjoy the forthcoming week of the Sanremo Music Festival!
