Barei will represent Spain at the forthcoming 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm next May.
A total of 6 acts battled for the golden ticket to Stockholm tonight in Objectivo Eurovision. The Spanish national final was held in Madrid and was hosted by Anne Irgatiburu. The 6 Spanish hopefuls: Barei, Electric Nana, Salva Beltran, Maverick, Xuso Jones and Maria Isabel showcased their best during the show.
With Barei winning the combined jury vote with a total of 66 points, it was down to the public to decide who should go on to represent Spain at the upcoming contest. The top marks of the televote also went to Barei where she received a combined total of 114 points.

Barei was declared the winner of Objectivo Eurovision will fly the Spanish flag in Sweden with Say yay! and will have the honour of representing Spain at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.
Spain debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has won the event twice in 1968, 1969.
The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 10, 12 and 14 May at the Globen Arena in Stockholm.
