Eurovision 2014 winner Conchita Wurst is to guest star on next week’s episode of the popular Swedish show Allsång på Skansen (Sing-along at Skansen).
Allsång på Skansen has been taking place in Skansen, Stockholm every Tuesday in the Summer, since 1935, and has been broadcast on Swedish Television since 1979. It consists of musical guests and between 10-25,000 onlookers singing along to popular Swedish songs.
Conchita is the latest in a long list of Eurovision winners to take part in the show. Since 2005 Helen Paparizou, Lordi, Marija Serifovic, Alexander Rybak, Loreen and Emmelie de Forest have all appeared. She will join host Petra Marklund on Tuesday 29 July in what is promised to be a glitter filled gala. Conchita will follow up her television appearance by opening the Stockholm Pride Festival 2014 on Wednesday 30 July in Pride Park Stockholm.
