The night is finally here! The grand final of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest takes place this evening in which a total of 26 countries will be competing to be crowned the winner of this year’s competition. Where will we be flying to in 2018?
Following months of announcements, selections and pre-parties, we’ve now reached the pinnacle of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest: the Grand Final!
Earlier this week we witnessed 2 semi-final shows, in which 42 countries were whittled down to tonight’s 26 grand finalists. Now it’s time to determined the winner of this year’s competition along with which country will host the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest.

The grand final of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest will air from 21:00 CEST on the following channels:
- The show can be viewed through the participating national, as well as associate, broadcasters
- A live stream will be available via the official Eurovision YouTube channel

This evening will see a total of 26 countries competing in the final of the 2017 contest in the host city of Kyiv at the International Exhibition Centre, hosted once again by all-male presenting trio Oleksandr Skichko, Volodymyr Ostapchuk and Timur Miroshnychenko.
The winner of the 2017 competition will be determined via a 50/50 combined public and jury vote; the jury vote was determined last night during the special jury show which will be presented this evening via each country’s official spokesperson, whilst the remaining televote will be determined tonight and presented via the hosts in the second half of the voting.
Following the allocation draw for each competing nation, the contest organisers determined the full final running order of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest on Thursday evening, with each finalist performing in the following order:
This evening also sees the return of 2 former Ukrainian Eurovision winners, Ruslana and Jamala, who will both perform as opening and interval acts at this year’s competition.
