Yeah, should be this season’s trend. Following the remarkable performance of Salvador Sobral at Eurovision in May, which offered him and Portugal a triumphant victory, there has been a number of people who have tried to get into his role, having found the most suitable way.

Which is this? It’s of course the international show Your Face Sounds Familiar, which airs in most European countries and in several more around the globe.

When two Eurovision acts “meet” each other

Yesterday saw an extraordinary meeting of two former Eurovision participants, as the Romanian 2013 hopeful Cezar Ouatu reenacted Salvador Sobral‘s stage appearance in his country’s version of the show, Te Cunosc De Undeva!.

The viewers were treated a successful disguise and voice imitating trial by Cezar, which brought back this year’s Eurovision memories. After all, it’s more than sure that all Romanian Eurovision fans had their own opinion on how well did Cezar last night!

This is Cezar’s imitating trial for Amar pelos dois. What do you think of it?

As previously reported, Salvador Sobral is still dealing with his health issues at Santa Cruz hospital in Lisbon, being at the top of the awaiting-for-a-donor list. According to the latest reports, his health has shown little signs of improvement, whilst the possibility of receiving an artificial heart is in existence.

Cezar at Eurovision

Singer Florian Cezar Ouatu took part and won the Romanian national final Selecția Națională 2013, after a series of three televised shows of two semi-finals and the Grand Final. Therefore, he went on to fly the nation’s flag in Malmö, with his song It’s my life, written by Cristian Faur.

He competed in the second semi-final on 12 May 2013 and progressed to the Final. Following a memorable performance which showcased his deep vocal abilities, he finished in 13th place with 65 points.

How did you find his attempt in the show? Would you like to see Cezar at Eurovision once again?
