40 countries will be taking part in the 60th Eurovision Song Contest which will be held in Vienna on 19, 21 and 23 May. The next country to be introduced is Lithuania. Singing for Lithuania this year are Monika Linkytė and Vaidas Baumila.

It was supposed to be a one-artist entry, but the chemistry that Monika Linkytė and Vaidas Baumila displayed at the national final triggered a change of plans and the duo will fly the Lithuanian flag in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Monika and Vaidas will open the second semi-final in Vienna with This time on 21 May.

Monika Linkytė has achieved a long-chased dream with her winning the Lithuanian national selection. Vaidas Baumila is a singer and an actor who jumped to fame from the talent show Dangus. He was third in the Lithuanian national final in 2014.
