Faun is a 6 piece band that specialises in medieval folk music. The band members are Oliver s Tyr, Fiona Rüggeberg, Niel Mitra, Stephan Groth, Rüdiger Maul and Katja Moslehner .
Since the start in 2002 Faun has been nominated for the prestigious ECHO award twice, performed at over 750 concerts worldwide and their 2012 album Von den Elben reached platinum status in Germany.
In this years German national final, Faun will be competing with the songs Hörst du die Trommeln and Abschied.
