Tonight, the exciting conclusion of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2015 took place in Helsinki, where the public voted for Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät to represent the Nordic country in the Eurovision Song Contest this May in Austria.
A total of 9 acts battled it out in the final for their right to represent Finland on the world stage when the Eurovision Song Contest descends on Vienna, Austria in May.

- Satin Circus – Crossroads
- Solju – Hold your colours
- Järjestyshäiriö – Särkyneiden sydänten kulmilla
- Norlan “El Misionario” – No voy a llorar por ti
- Opera Skaala – Heart of light
- Jouni Aslak – Lions and lambs
- Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät – Aina mun pitää
- Angelo De Nile – All for victory
The results were determined by a combination of jury and televote. After the voting concluded, the Finnish public voted for Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät with their entry Aina mun pitää to fly the Finnish flag in Vienna at the Eurovision Song Contest in May.
Finland will compete in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria on the 19 May.
Making their debut in the contest in 1961, Finland has won the contest once with Lordi’s Hard rock hallelujah. Last year, Finland came 11th in the Grand Final with Softengine and their pop-rock entry Something better. You can watch the performance from that show below.
