The Lithuanian broadcaster LRT continues with the series of shows of its national selection for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. The fourth program of Eurovizija 2015 will be seen tonight, with 8 participants still in the competition.

About the show

LRT will be broadcasting the fourth show of Eurovizija 2015. The country’s representative in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest will be selected by the end of the national selection.

The nine artists who passed the selection in the previous show were expected to participate tonight, but after the withdrawal of Milita Daikerytė due to illness announced during the week, 8 artists will be seen tonight.

The candidates will be singing before the jury members Ramūnas Zilnys, Gediminas Zujus, Darius Ukuraitis and Ieva Norkūnienė.

The hosts of the show will be Simona Nainė and Arūnas Valinskas.

The artists that will be featuring tonight are:

  • Edgaras Lubys
  • Jurgis Brūzga
  • Liepa Mondeikaitė
  • Mia
  • Monika Linkytė
  • Neringa Šiaudikytė
  • Tadas Juodsnukis
  • Vaidas Baumila

Two of them are to be voted out after the combination of the jury and the audience votes, leaving the remaining six in the competition for the next show.

The song that the winner of the national selection will sing in Vienna is being selected through a separate vote. The final decision will be made at the Song Final on 14 February.

The story so far

Lithuania’s first Eurovision participation was in 1994. The country has not won yet. The best result was obtained in 2006, a sixth position with LT United and their entry We are the winners.
