Today, the Belarusian national broadcaster BTRC will stream the first live audition show where a number of the possible candidate entries will be presented for the first time. The stream will begin at 10:00 CET.
The stream
Starting at 10:00 CET (12:00 local time), BTRC will stream the first half of their live auditions from the 600 Metrov studio for the Belarusian national final. This year, BTRC received a record number of submissions (100) and over the course of two days, the acts will perform their entries to the jury – Alexander Tikhanovich (singer), Vasily Rainchik (composer), Elena Treschinskaya (Head of Radius FM), Olga Ryzhikova (TV host), Evgeniy Papkovich (executive producer Belarus 1), Andrey Holodinsky (Radio-Roks editor) and Marianna Drabovich (head of the Department of Arts and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus). The jury will then go on to shortlist the entries from 100 to 15 entries which will be revealed on Friday.

The story so far
Belarus debuted at the Eurovison Song Contest in 2004 when Aleksandra and Konstantin were selected to represent their country in the host city of Istanbul, Turkey. With their entry My galileo, they received a total of 10 points in the semi-final and therefore failed to qualify to the grand final.
Belarus’ best result to date was in 2007 when Dmitry Koldun was chosen to represent his country at the contest with his song Work your magic. Dmitry qualified to the grand final where he received a total of 145 points, ending in 6th position.
Teo was selected to represent Belarus at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest via the Belarusian national final. With his entry Cheesecake, Teo qualified to the grand final where he ended in 16th position, receiving a total of 43 points.
