Tanja is best known in the Eurovision family as the 2014 Estonian representative. 2 months ago she performed the song Amazing for the country.

She performed as song three in the first semi-final on May 6th. Unfortunately though Tanja was ranked 12 and therefore did not qualify to the grand final in Copenhagen.

Tanja (born 19 June 1983) was born in Russia, but moved to Estonia at a young age with her family. Previous to Eurovision, she has participated in a number of music competitions throughout the Balkan regions, and has been a part of a number of stage productions.

In 2001, Tanja became part of the pop group Nightlight Duo, along with Ly Lumiste. Together, they released two studio albums, and competed in the Estonian national selection for Eurovision, Eurolaul. They achieved second place in the contest in 2002, and fourth in 2003. Soon after, the group split. Since then, Tanja has toured and performed with a number of bands, and has worked to build her solo career. This year, she went it alone in the Estonian national final Eesti Laul, winning the ticket to Copenhagen.

Ahead of 2015, Estonian broadcaster ERR has already confirmed to Esctoday.com that the Baltic nation will compete in Austria next year.

Earlier today the dates for next year’s Eurovision were announced as 19,21 and 23 May 2015. Estonia will compete in one of the two semi finals on May 19 and 21 st. The exact semi final (and which half) will be revealed at the Semi Final Allocation Draw. This will take place in early 2015.

Hello my name is Daniel Doyle. I am 19 years old and I live in Rushden, United Kingdom. My first Eurovision was in 2004 where I was given permission by my parents to stay up late to watch the contest. Since then I have been a hardcore fan. The first Eurovision I went to was in 2010 and I hope to go to more in the near future.
