Conchita Wurst, winner of the 2014 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, arrived home to Vienna, Austria with a reception fit for a hero.
Hundreds of fans packed the Vienna airport, hoping to catch a glimpse of Austria’s newest superstar as she arrived home from Copenhagen. As we posted earlier, the preliminary dates for the contest have been set, with a venue and further event details still yet to be decided.
Austrian broadcaster, ORF, also scheduled a press event with Conchita where she answered a number of questions for both local and foreign press, mostly conducted in German:
