Kasey Smith is a Dublin-based singer/songwriter, previously part of the girlband Wonderland. After the breakup of the band, Kasey made the decision to focus on her solo career, travelling to Nashville, Tennessee to get first-hand exposure to the music industry. In 2013, she attempted win the ticket to represent Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Kiss me, ending in 3rd place in the Eurosong 2013 Irish national final. This year, she teamed up with the Irish music group Can-Linn, winning the ticket to Copenhagen with the song Heartbeat.
