Paula & Ovi, who represented Romania at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest and will represent Romania at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, have unveiled some images from their recent postcard shoot (pictured below).
DR, the Danish national broadcaster, sent over their production team to the Romanian capital Bucharest where they met this year’s Romanian representatives, Paula and Ovi.
This year’s postcards will be based in the Eurovision participant’s home countries. The postcards will feature a film including a city of the artists choice along with the participants creating an image of their country’s flag using their own hands.
All of the participating country’s postcards will premiere at the contest during the 2 semi-finals and the grand final. The dates of this year’s contest are as follows:
- Semi-final 1: 6 May
- Semi-final 2: 8 May
- Grand final: 10 May
Paula and Ovi were selected to represent Romania and the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest after winning the Romania national final Selecția Națională. With their song Miracle, Paula and Ovi will participate in the second semi-final of the contest on the 8 May were they will bid for a place in the big grand final on the 10 May.
Paula and Ovi previously represented Romania at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo with their song Playing with fire. Qualifying to the grand final, Paula and Ovi ended in 3rd place.
