Watch now: Melodifestivalen second chance round in Sweden

Tonight, the Swedish national broadcaster SVT heads to the Sparbanken Lidköping Arena in Lidköping for the Andra Chansen (Second chance) round of Melodifestivalen. The show will begin at 20:00 CET.

The show

Tonight, the eight artists who reached the third and fourth places of the previous four heats will battle it out for the final two spots in the Melodifestivalen final on 8 March. The first round of voting will choose the top four, who will be placed into a duel-style super final to compete for the final two spots.

How to watch

The show will be aired live on SVT1 as well as on SVT Europa via satellite at 20:00 CET. For the international viewers, a webstream will be made available on the Melodifestivalen website.

The Swedish selection consists of 6 rounds.  Now that the first four semi-finals have taken place, the 3rd and 4th placed acts from each semi-final will compete in the Andra Chansen (second chance) round, and the top 2 placed acts from Andra Chansen as voted by the Swedish public will proceed to the final.

The final will be held on March 8 at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, where a total of 10 acts will battle for the golden ticket to Copenhagen 2014.
