In two days, the Hungarian National Selection, A Dal 2o14 will kick off with its first Heat. Six songs will qualify to the semi-finals out of the ten competing entries.

The Hungarian  national selection has been quite successful, as the broadcaster (MTV) could reach quite high viewing rates, and the Central European country managed to qualify to the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest twice in 2012 and 2013 – ByeAlex achieved an honorable  10th place in Malmö.

The BIG QUESTION is – Can Hungary repeat the success in Copenhagen? Once again there are thirty songs in the run, many famous names in the country and even totally unknown artists to the Hungarian public will be singing in the following weeks. You can check out the songs  here.

One thing is for sure – All the bidding candidates are more than eager to perform their entries for both the the Hungarian and international audience. The voting will will be opened worldwide, hence everyone will be able to vote, very much in the same way like in recent years.
