Melodifestivalen: extensive TV coverage

Swedish broadcaster revelaed that they are going to provide full coverage of Melodifestivalen 2007, their national final for the Eurovision Song Contest, through SVT1 and SVT Europe. The evenings before the semi finals, there will be a special show with interviews, the latest news and more. The shows will start at 21:15 CET.

You can find the the dates for the Swedish selection and the line-up of the four semi finals here.

Those who will miss one of the shows get another chance to watch it: Every Sunday afternoon, the previous round will be shown once again. If there will be webcast, is not known at the moment but in 2006, only the final round was shown live on the Internet. You can watch a special Christmas documentary on the jury and the wild card entries here (in Swedish).

In 2006, Sweden finished 5th in the Eurovision Song Contest final round with Carola and Invincible. Therefore, they will be directly qualified for the final in Helsinki.
